Today saw our longest trips out on the bus (getting lost twice didn’t help!) and again we were joined by a few of our German hosts. First up was Farmers Golf, what should have been a 90 minute journey took us 2 hours, however once we arrived the sun was out. Farmers Gold was basically giant mini-golf, around a field with various obstacles using footballs and large clubs.
After this we had another long journey back towards Cologne to visit Aqualand (another long journey thanks to a bridge with a weight restriction!), we made it to the pool for 3.30. We had great fun in the 2 large pools and on all the slides thanks to the lack of lifeguards compared to home (there are more Lifeguards at Colne Valley on a Thursday night than we saw in our visit), we got away with making rather a lot more splash than normal.
